Plus, dimming the lights, putting on the right music, and lighting a candle or using a diffuser can help create the right atmosphere, as well. Regardless of what self-care activity you choose to do.

Yankee Candle Lavender Vanilla Scented, Classic 22oz Large Jar Single Wick Candle, Over 110 Hours of Burn Time – I actually have this candle in this scent, so I felt confident recommending it. It has lasted a while, and the scent is still going strong. I’m such a lavender girl though, so there’s other scent options available with this same link if you’re wanting something different. Though lavender always creates the perfect at-home self-care atmosphere, in my humble opinion.

Essential Oil Diffuser – I couldn’t find my exact diffuser because I got it years ago, so I included one that’s similar. I’ve honestly been using Young Living and Scentsy essentials oils the last few years because I got them for free. They are great quality, so I do recommend them. My favorite scents are Lavender and any citrus scent.

Water can really do wonders for mental health. I’ll include everything you would need for a foot spa, bath, and shower.

HOSPAN Collapsible Foot Spa Electric Rotary Massage, Foot Bath with Heat, Bubble, Remote, and 24 Motorized Shiatsu Massage Balls – I love a Self-Care Shower or Bath as much as the next person, but sometimes it can be exhausting if you don’t have the energy for it. My boyfriend got me this glorious foot spa, and I cannot recommend it enough!!! It’s collapsible, heats the water itself, has motorized massage balls that ACTUALLY work and massage your entire foot. You can even use bath salts or bath bombs with it. My favorite self-care is getting set up with my HOSPAN Foot Spa in front of a movie, with a snack or treat of choice, and just being a happy little bean.

Amazon Basics Epsom Salt Soaking Aid, Lavender Scented – As mentioned, I’m a lavender girl. However, these Amazon bath salts smell AMAZING!! The perfect bath salts for an at-home self-care night.

Dr. Teal’s Salt Soak with Pure Epsom Salt, Glow & Radiance with Vitamin C & Citrus Essential Oils – I also love Dr. Teal’s bath products, so I had to add this in, as well.

Nagaliving Bath Bombs Gift Set, 10 Organic Bubble Bombs – I prefer using “more natural” bath bombs whenever possible so that it doesn’t irritate my skin. My boyfriend got these for me, and I definitely recommend them! They smell great, have a long shelf life, and leave my skin feeling amazing.

Though you honestly can’t go wrong with any of them. I would recommend applying it with a a body brush or a loofah to help with the exfoliation.

Good Molecules Squalane Oil – When I’m wanting to elevate my at-home self-care experience, I go the extra step of applying a generous amount of face oil and let it absorb into my skin for a while. I use a Jade Roller to apply my face oil. It helps improve the appearance of your skin and inflammation, and increases blood circulation. I also enjoy the sensory input of it. It helps me connect with my body and be present in the moment.

For notebooks/journals I will include one that is spiraled and one that is bound. I usually use a spiral notebook for random notes, reminders, or to-do lists I make so that way I can rip out pages if I need to. Whereas, I’ll use the bound notebooks for journaling.
